Nürnberg your involvement grows much the

deeper, in summer sun or as cold winds blow

of reparation: wild semesters cannot throw

stained blankets over young, constrained voices

His voice though clear betrayed his taught emotion

outside the lined, soiled buildings of engagement

where presented they their abhorrent lie as alibi

disregarded by those who turn away disgusted

.

Judge ‘J’ confessed to this selvage of atrocity

for three hours seventeen; he disgorged

humourless tales of untold grief, sordid solitude

in terms of civilisation’s improfundity in certitude

.. .

Did they, as conjectured, deserve a martyr’s death

who planned their murderous escape by legality

within the darkest memoir of crazed disavowal

where shame hides discovery of sunken relics

.. .

In a room of five broken walls they arrange themselves

for rhetoric their circus master sought to tame all despots

who remain less than animals in striped, red spot tunics

O’ Russia rent her calico in despair of politic diplomacy

Its warp and woof warned then spat upon a swollen river

a signpost of their disregard for western rule of law or

their disrespect for shameful injustice clearly unspent

applied communal science to unrestored amplitude

.

Nürnberg your preposterous inhumanity reeks of blame

unrequited, unforgiven sin all judgements do deceive

squander then the conscience of a lamb, an honest sham

there is no humanity served can sever constituents of evil
